I collapse boxes and similar items to reduce landfill. I turn in aluminum cans. Shut off lights - I don't blast the AC in the summer - use a fan instead. I don't run the tap while brushing my teach. I always fill my dish washer. My front loader wash machine uses less water/electricity. I unplug appliances that I am not using (Toaster, computer, printer, etc)

However I need to drink less bottled water. I LOVE Fiji water. *pout*

K-Mart left South Texas and I miss them. They didn't have the 'glorified flee-market' lay out like Wal-Mart does. I shop at Target when ever I can because I hate how Wal-Mart looks like a dirty closet. At least that's how they end up in San Antonio.

Only 4 Days until I get to wait in long security lines on my way to Tokyo.

For those of you who have been lurking around my various journals and or My Space - I've been molested by my Muse. I've been writing quite a bit over the last few days. It's very liberating since I've been in a creative slump for over 2 years.

I also looked in to Phys. Therapy for the nagging pain in my shoulder/neck. It's not bad having a team of muscled guys 'work' on you for an hour three times a week! You can tell where my minds been these past weeks. When my therapist Chad was examining my shoulders on my first session he grimaced and said "Man, you're tight." I absolutley hope he didn't see the look on my face when he said that!! I know, I'm totally perverted! Anyhow, getting the help I need to start lifting weights again has boosted my modivation to work out. I still have my gym membership and now I'm getting the instruction I needed to work out and not hurt my self. Feels good.

To being I was mention when I was seven years old I was a huge Transformers fan.  During a harmless field trip my class and I were taken to the local airport to see planes, etc.  When we were told that we'd be seeing firetrucks I thought "O goodie big red fire trucks like in all our picture books"

My classmates and I walked around a large building in to the hanger were all the fire trucks were.  I immediately froze in my tracks when I saw the firetrucks and other construction vehicles near by.  Which included a dump truck and a caterpillar with the shovel.  The fire trucks and other equipment were bright green - just like Devastator!  In my child mind this was not normal.  Construction vehicles were yellow and fire trucks were red.  I stayed at the back of the group during the whole fire saftey speech....completely convinced we were in mortal danger!  Devastator could transform at any moment!!!

Childhood - so filled with magic and wonder!  To this day I call that type of green Devastator Green.

I booked the tickets/hotel today!  I've planned for March 08 departure since I will be starting full time at my job and I want to be considerate to my co-workers.  And I'll have accumulated vacation time by then.  Even though I'll only be using three days of it.  It's a Wednesday to Wednesday trip to take atvantage of Spring Break and the weekend.  Wooo!  Here I come Tokyo!  100 l hot aisian men with poshe fahsion sense, beware!! - crazy pear-shaped black woman is coming.  Bwaaa-haa-haaa!

I staying at Shinagawa Prince hotel again.  They're across the street from the train station and there's shopping and eateries near by. Weeee!  I was kinda numb this afternoon after I printed the confirmation, but the excitment is hitting me now.

 It's a cross between my lingering affection for my goth years, Strong Bad, Trogdor  T-shirts and jeans that fit my big booty.   Overall my sense of style has...er...decreased over the past few years.  I've had more important things to fret over.   What makes me different?  I like buying ethnic clothing ( indian tunics, african prints and such) and mix matching them with American styles.
